support — aps store

support.

six answers that cover most of what we're asked. for anything else, the fastest route is 'send feedback' inside the app: it attaches the app's log tail and settings summary, so we can see what you see. email works too.

i didn't get my key · i paid but no key arrived

your key was made the moment square confirmed the payment, so it's on your account page right now: sign in at store.anchorpoint.studio/account with the email address you bought with (we email you a 6-digit code; there's no password). every key you own is listed there, with a copy button.

the email itself can land in spam or promotions; search for 'anchor point studio'. if you'd like it sent again, use 'email me my keys' on the sign-in page.

typed a different address at checkout? sign in with that one. if you can't work out which, email [email protected] from the address you'd like the key on, with the last four digits of the card and the day you paid, and we'll move it.

windows says it doesn't recognize the app · smartscreen stops the installer

for a while after each release, windows may still say it doesn't recognize the app. choose 'more info' and 'run anyway', but only with an installer from your account page.

that prompt is windows building a reputation for a new release, not a problem with the file. it goes away on its own as more people install the same build. if you got the installer anywhere other than your account page, stop and email us.

it says i've hit the machine limit · 'this key is already on 3 machines'

an app you bought runs on 3 machines at a time. the limit is on pcs signed in, not on installs, so freeing one is a click: open your account page, find the key, and sign out the pc you're not using. the seat frees up right away and the new pc activates on its next try.

things that count as a new machine without looking like one: reinstalling windows, a new ssd with a fresh windows on it, a new pc with the same name. uninstalling the app doesn't sign a pc out. each pc is listed by its computer name, and you can rename it there so you know which is which.

i'm offline. does it stop? · shoots, planes, render rooms with no internet

no. each app checks its license online now and then and keeps working offline for up to 30 days between checks. after 30 days without a check it asks you to go online before it starts new work. it never stops work that's already running. a card mid-copy finishes, a clip keeps playing, a batch completes, a render completes.

if you know a machine will be offline for a long stretch, open the app once while it's online before you go; a check lasts 30 days from then. 'check now' is in the license box of every app. if a pc can never go online, email us and we'll sort something out by hand.

what the check sends, and nothing else: your key the first time, then a signed token, the app's name and version, your windows version and a machine id. the license page lists it exactly: store.anchorpoint.studio/license

how do updates work? · when, how, and what's included

every 1.x update is included with an app you bought, for good. it tells you when an update is ready and installs it when you close the app.

the newest build you're entitled to is always on your account page too, so a fresh install on a new pc starts current. each update is signed by the same publisher and checked before it runs. we don't promise a way to roll back; if an update gives you trouble, use 'send feedback' and we'll fix it rather than have you go backwards.

can i get a refund? · 14 days, no questions

yes. within 14 days of buying, no questions asked. ask on your account page or email [email protected]. a refunded license stops working.

the money goes back to the card you paid with; square handles the timing, usually a few business days. the app's pcs are signed out and it goes back to its key box. your files are never touched.

i'm in the eu or uk and can't check out

we can't take orders from the eu or uk yet. email [email protected] and we'll tell you when we can.

still stuck? ask the people who built it.

[email protected]

email: [email protected]. we answer within 2 business days. the people who built the apps read it.

there's no phone line and no chat. the full terms are on the license page: store.anchorpoint.studio/license
