version 1.1 · released 23 oct 2026

pay once. nothing renews. one checkout covers everything in your cart. license terms

our installers aren't code-signed, so windows may say it doesn't recognize the app. choose 'more info' and 'run anyway', but only for an installer you downloaded from your account page.

or get every app with the aps suite, $19.99 a year or $1.99 a month.

plug in a card. aps ingest copies what's new, checks every file and can write a backup at the same time. it never clears a card on its own.

01

starts when a card goes in

it waits in the tray and imports on its own. other drives and folders work too.

02

every copy checked

each file is hashed off the card and again on disk. a bad copy is thrown away, never left looking finished.

03

a backup from the same read

set a second drive once and every card lands in both places.

04

skips what you already have

put a half-shot card back in and only the new clips are copied.

05

a report to hand over

every import leaves an mhl manifest, an html report and a csv in the shoot folder.

  1. buy it once and download it from your account page.
  2. pick your library folder, and a backup drive if you want one.
  3. put a card in. it copies, checks and files it under '<date> - <camera>'.
  • windows 10 (22H2) or 11, 64-bit
  • a card reader or usb drive
  • about 225 mb installed
  • online once every 30 days for the license check
  • it copies the media types on its list, not the whole card. check what's left before you format.
  • shooting cinemadng? switch sorting off first, so each clip keeps its own folder.
  • no previews, transcoding or proxies. it offloads and checks.
why not just copy cards in file explorer?

explorer doesn't check anything. aps ingest checks every file, skips what you already have, writes a backup and keeps windows awake until it's done.

will it work with my camera?

most sony, canon and nikon cards and most cinema cameras are picked up on their own. anything else works with 'import anyway'.

can it delete or format my cards?

never on its own, and it never formats. once every copy checks out you can clear the card from the dashboard, and each file is re-checked first.

does it replace offshoot or shotput pro?

not for dit work on big productions. it covers the everyday windows offload: a checked copy, a backup and a report.

can i offload straight to a nas?

we haven't tested network shares. offload to a local or usb drive and move it from there.

what does buying once get me?

the app, for good: every 1.x update, on 3 machines at a time. if it's not for you, ask for a refund within 14 days. the license page has the details. an aps suite subscription unlocks this app too.

no ads, no analytics. it only goes online for the license check, for updates and for feedback you choose to send. questions: 'send feedback' in aps ingest or [email protected].
