right-click a card. look, check and cull.
$4.99 once
version 1.0 · released 23 oct 2026
pay once. nothing renews. one checkout covers everything in your cart. license terms
our installers aren't code-signed, so windows may say it doesn't recognize the app. choose 'more info' and 'run anyway', but only for an installer you downloaded from your account page.
or get every app with the aps suite, $19.99 a year or $1.99 a month.
right-click a card and see everything on it, clips, audio and raw stills, in one window. check exposure, then cull your stills for lightroom.
plays what your cameras shoot
prores, dnxhr, hevc 10-bit, av1, mxf and the usual mp4 and mov, on the gpu. no codec packs.
editor keys and timecode
j/k/l up to 16x and in reverse, frame stepping, loops and source timecode.
exposure checks
.cube luts, false color and zebras, like a camera monitor.
raw stills that page like jpegs
25+ raw formats open straight from the camera's preview.
culling for lightroom
stars, picks and rejects go into .xmp sidecars that lightroom classic reads on import.
- buy it once and download it from your account page.
- right-click a clip, a photo or a card folder and choose 'play with aps player'.
- step through with pgup/pgdn, check exposure, rate your stills.
- windows 10 (22H2) or 11, 64-bit
- a graphics card with directx 11 drivers
- about 70 mb installed, plus a preview cache
- online once every 30 days for the license check
- it's a viewer: no trimming, clip export or transcoding.
- prores raw, arriraw, nikon n-raw and canon cinema raw light aren't supported. a .braw file opens in blackmagic's free raw player.
- marks reach lightroom for raw files like arw, cr3, nef and raf, not for dng or jpeg.
i already have vlc. why pay for this?
for plain playback you don't need to. you pay for what's around it: j/k/l with reverse, source timecode, luts, false color, zebras and raw culling in one window.
will my ratings show up in lightroom?
yes, for raw files like arw, cr3, nef and raf. a pick arrives as a green label and a reject as a -1 rating.
does it play blackmagic raw?
no. a .braw file opens in blackmagic's free raw player if you have it.
does it work with files on a nas or onedrive?
yes. cloud placeholders open right away, and a read-ahead cache keeps nas playback smooth.
is there a mac version?
no. windows 10 and 11, 64-bit, only.
what does buying once get me?
the app, for good: every 1.x update, on 3 machines at a time. if it's not for you, ask for a refund within 14 days. the license page has the details. an aps suite subscription unlocks this app too.
